Library in Linux and Windows

This morning i browsed the Internet and also reading RSS Feeds by using FeedReader and i found two links that explained about library in GNU/Linux and in Windows platform. If you are a developer which will need this kind of information, you can grab them at here (part 1) and here (part 2). Part one introduces the concepts for both Linux and Windows, but will focus primarily on Linux. In part two, they'll discuss how it works in Windows and then continue to compare the two environments. It's a nice articles, but it's so technical so i don't think it's usefull for non-developers or geeks who don't likes to see hexadecimal number or assembly code :D
