Social Engineering Movies

Tomorrow, i will have my last class of computer security before mid test and the topic will be about social engineering. I'm planning to play a movie that used social engineering techniques to achieve their goals such as Catch Me If You Can or The Italian Jobs. I already have the second one, but i'm on a progress of downloading the first one.

I have watched both of them and i really think these two movies are very suitable for showing how social engineering can be very tricky, useful, and also dangerous when it's not being used for something good.

Catch Me If You Can

Today, i used an old movie called Catch Me If You Can to educate students how dangerous social engineering can be. In this movie, Frank W. Abagnale has demonstrated how effective a social engineering attack can be. He can be a pilot, a doctor, and also a attorney general before he was even 19 years old.

I hope the students get the idea and able to avoid being a victim of a social engineering attack in the future
