No More Hidden Plurk Emoticons?

Yes, i know there has been a new hidden Plurk emoticons out there, but i don't feel like adding it on my script, because i think it's so ugly Doh. If you don't believe me, i'll show it to you below:

If you want to add it manually, it's up to you to do it, but i will not add it on my script. Perhaps when new hidden emoticons appears and it's good enough, i will update my Yahoo/Plurk Emoticons again Yahoo

Yahoo/Plurk Emoticons Updated

I have uploaded an updated version of my Yahoo/Plurk emoticons for Blogger on my shared Box.net account. Basically i only added some new hidden emoticons which were previously added to Plurk, which relates to World Cup 2010, like the famous colorful vuvuzela emoticons, goal emoticon, and also dance emoticon holding vuvuzela like this one Dance Vuvuzela

There are some hidden emoticons which are not included since the timing was not correct, since it's Christmas-related emoticons. So i will skip those and probably i will add it when Christmas is near. Below is the screenshot of the latest one on Blogspot editor (it will not work on newer editor, so please use the old one or you will miss this emoticons)

Instructions on how to use these script can be seen on my previous post which i wrote on 2009.

Conference Via Skype

Tonight, i'm trying to held a conference using Skype as the media with some of my students. I tend to use Skype as it has better compression compared to other application. So far, i have been using it on Linux and it worked just fine for audio call, since i have never tried to use video call.

Let's hope the conference works as expected big grin

Yahoo! OpenID Not Usable (For Now)

I read Maseko's post about Yahoo! OpenID and i realized i haven't activate my Yahoo! ID for OpenID, so i opened Yahoo's OpenID and activate my account. I tried to test it by giving comments to my friend's blog on Blogger and it seems that as Maseko stated, it's not working at all with the message : OpenID url is missing. It seems that both vendor uses different version of OpenID, but actually it supposed to be backward compatible, so why forcing to support the bleeding-edge technology when most site still uses the old version?

I guess Yahoo! OpenID is not usable for now until people or sites have moved to support OpenID 2.0. I still use my OpenID which i got from GetOpenID. It's working on Blogger and many other services.
