IRIS II Completed

Finally the second season of IRIS KDrama has been completed with another same ending, the main character died. This time, it's not by gunshot, but he died due to health problem and also because he took the nuclear bomb with a helicopter to an island far away from Seoul to minimize the casualties due to the effect of nuclear explosion which was estimated of bigger than the bomb exploded in Hiroshima Japan long long ago.

It's been a great movie, but then the ending that makes me kinda disappointed with the writer. I hope they produce IRIS III with a better plot in the end.

IRIS II

Finally after waiting for some time, IRIS II has finally airing. This is one of the KDrama that i have been waiting for since the first season's ending was stalling and it blew up my dream of watching a good ending.

It's now on their second week and their ratings is high as predicted. It's already on my watchlist and i'm going to watch it later when i have completed watching Ghost, another KDrama that was already completed since last year, but i didn't notice it, so i started downloading it few weeks ago and i'm in the last episode right now.

IRIS II is Airing

For KDrama lovers who enjoyed watching IRIS, be happy as now IRIS II is airing since yesterday and it will be another 20 episodes of full intrique, plot, actions, bombing, martial arts, and of course romance.

The filming process has been started since some time ago, but the air time has been announced on early this month. This week, they started their premiere and they got the highest rank for this week and probably every week. We will have to wait and see to confirm that achievement.

No More Interesting KDrama

After my last KDrama series: Mr. Nice Guy, i still haven't found any good KDrama again. I have downloaded I Miss You, but never had a chance to watch it for now as i'm still busy with my other schedule.

Well, it seems that KDrama is no longer interesting for me (for now) until all my errands are done....

Arang and the Magistrate

Finally, after several days without any KDrama to watch, finally i have decided to watch Arang and the Magistrate. One of my reason to follow this drama is because it has a good translations from DarkSmurf Sub. I can't speak Korean, so i need good translations from subbing group so that i can enjoy the movie.

This drama is scheduled to have 20 episodes (10 weeks) and it has been airing since last month (August 15). The main cast of this drama is Shin Min Ah, who played as Gumiho in her previous drama. It looks like she enjoyed being a "ghost" character.


Here's some synopsis, taken from several source:

The drama is based on famous folklore, as all ghost stories are: During the Joseon era in the city of Miryang, Arang was the pure, beautiful, goodhearted daughter of a magistrate. She grew up without a mother, and was raised by a wicked caretaker who conspired to have her be raped and ruined by a servant. He attacked and she resisted, so he stabbed and killed her, and left her body to rot in the woods.
Her father the magistrate just believed that she dishonorably eloped with a man and so resigned his position swathed in shame. Thus the legend goes that every time a new magistrate comes to Miryang to fill the position, Arang’s vengeful ghost shows up to tell him her story and he flees in terror.
But one day a new magistrate comes to town — a young man by the name of Lee Eun-oh. Arang appears to him like every other magistrate before him, but this man doesn’t flee, and instead sympathizes with Arang, and promises to find her killer and avenge her death.

Last Episodes

Today, the last episodes of Man of Honors will be released to public and the subtitle will follow few days later. It's been a great time watching this KDrama, even my wife liked it too and she became more addicted than i'm on this case.

Thanks to KBS for airing this great KDrama. I'm looking forward for another great KDrama next year.

KDrama Suggestion

Lately, i have been watching Man of Honor as the only KDrama i followed. In the past, i usually followed 2-3 KDramas per week, but due to busy schedule this semester, i don't have time to watch too much dramas.

Man of Honors is a good KDrama (in my opinion) and it has 24 episodes in total. I would recommend it to all of you KDrama lovers if you haven't watch it yet. Right now, it's their last week, thus the last two episodes are coming this week as it will end their show.

I would like to ask for next KDrama suggestion from all of you. Do you have any suggestion for any KDramas that i should watch for next year? It could be a future KDrama or an airing KDramas as well.

No More Interesting KDramas

Lately, i haven't followed too many KDramas since IMHO, there aren't so many good KDramas like before. The only KDramas i followed is Protect The Boss which has ended as of this morning as the final episode has been broadcasted in South Korea last night. All i need is wait for the translations from DarkSmurfSub fansub group.

As the substitute, i'm collecting several HD quality movies which i would like to watch together with my wife in our new room. I usually watched 720p BluRay rip in the past, but now, i upgraded it to 1080p which has better quality than 720p. Since most of them are in mkv format, the size is not as big as in avi format, so i can save lots of space in my hard drive even though i still have plenty of empty space on it (it has 2 TB in total).

No Good KDrama Lately

I'm a KDrama addict who usually watched about 4-6 KDrama episodes per week, but lately, i only watched 2-4 dramas. It's all due to no good KDramas lately IMHO. All the good drama has ended and that leaves me with Protect The Boss.

I haven't completed Spy Myung Wol, but there's only one episode left, so i guess i can finish them by this week or so depends on the subs by DSS team. When that ends, i may not have the time to hunt for good KDramas as i have to prepare for the big day next week. I will probably start a new search after that

Korean City Hunter

You might have read City Hunter, one of the most well-known Japanese manga that talks about a detective whose name is Ryo Saeba that hunts down for criminals with his perverted acts. Although he's a perverted guy, he really is a skilfull detective.

Korea has a nice KDrama called City Hunter as well, and i think it has some similarities with the original Japanese version. The main actor (Lee Min Ho) is characterized as a player as well, even though he did that only to create an alibi or to prevent Kim Na Na (Park Min Young) to like him since it would endanger her if she likes him. It's currently airing and it's up to episode 10 (11 and 12 will be out this week) and they have a total of 20 episodes, so it's half way.

I found it very interesting drama, since i usually watch a romance/comedy drama, but this time, it's more likely a romance/action combination. Let's just hope it ends with a good happy ending
