Leaving

Two of G7 members will be leaving very soon. One will go back to US and the other one will go to Germany. We had fun together for the last two weeks and it's time to go back to their normal activities: working.

We all had a plan to have a reunion again next year in June/July in Summer break where three of us will be married and i guess there will be another member that is planning to get married by next year. Let's see if all of the members can re-group again next year

BBQ Party

Me and my G7 members will held a BBQ party tomorrow. This might be our last BBQ party before Andre leave to US and Yohan leave to Germany, back to their daily activities: working. Our next meeting will be next year or perhaps two years from now, so we would like to spend our time together with the rest of the group members that are still in Jogja.

We have made our preparation today and we will head to Kaliurang at noon. At the evening, we will start cooking and by dinner, we would have the party started

It's been a while since i got home late at night, but today is an exception. Today, all of G7 members gathered in Papindo at last. We had an old tradition of gathered here together with the rest of the crews and had a chat while eating corns. It's been some time since all of us gathered here, so today we went there again and have some fun together.

Next, we went to Food Fezt restaurant where we had dinner and one of the most fun time for us today, playing UNO . We played so long and we finally ended our game at the time the restaurant was closed, so it's really a close call before we were asked to leave the restaurant. We laughed a lot. Unfortunately, not all of the ladies could join us, but we are planning to play again tomorrow at Kaliurang. Hopefully most of the ladies can come and join the party in Kaliurang

Andre & Cynthia's Wedding

Today, one of my best friend, Andre Lokasari got married with his fiancee (now has become his wife) and i'm honored to be one of his bestmen. The other bestmen was also our best friend, Jongky. The three of us are part of our team called G7 and we were founded around 1999 and it lasts until today (we do hope that it will last forever)

Andre is the first of us who got married and i will soon follow in September, followed by Jongky on October and Yohan next year (i still don't know the exact time yet). It's a great time to have our team reunited all again in Jogja, since it's very hard to find a perfect time to gather, since Andre is living in US, while Yohan is studying in Germany. They lived in the opposite side of the world while Andy is in Jakarta and Joko is in Kudus. So as you can see, we both lived separately. Only me, Jongky, and Mark which still lives in Jogja.

I have just attended their wedding party at Banyumili and have fun together with the rest of the team. In the past, we don't bring our girlfriend, but now, most of us have brought our girlfriend or fiancee. Looks like our next meeting will be held when our son/daughter are born

Anyways, congratulations to Andre and Cynthia for their perfect wedding. I personally enjoyed it very much and i believe the others were too. Best wishes for both of you and your new family

Congratulations to Andre and Cynthia

Today, one of my best friend, Andre had his engagement with his girlfriend, Cynthia, or Cing as we called her. They had their engagement party at noon, but we had our dinner and also small reunion (because not all of our members can make it today) at night. This is also my first time meeting her even though we have chatted before via YM and also Skype since they both lived in US right now.

We had our dinner together at Serayu restaurant at Quality Hotel because we wanted to find a nice place to have a chat and dinner. It was a great time back then to chat with them until we missed out the time. When i looked at my mobile phone, the time was already 10 PM, which was the closing time for the restaurant, so we decided to leave the restaurant (the waiter already waiting for us actually and the air conditioner has been turned off)

We planned to go out again tomorrow night and also on Sunday. We should have a good time as we might not be able to meet again in another year i guess, since they won't be have so much free time to go back to Indonesia as they like.

Anyway, congratulations to both of Andre and Cing

Reunion Again

Finally we can make the reunion event happened again today. It was a fun reunion, with Me, my girlfriend, Pauling, Ferdy and his girlfriend Tata, Doddy, Bambang, Shirley and her husband Haryono, Eta, Erika and her husband Ferry. We all from the same class in elementary school and we bond our friendship up to now.

Thanks to Ferdy as the host and it was a nice place after all. We all cooperated to prepare the dinner ourselves, so no delivery or so on. It's all from us and for us.

We would like to have a lunch again tomorrow, hopefully with more people than today

Reunion

Last night, i was attending Erika's wedding party. She was my elementary friend and we went to the same junior high school, so we have many similar friends. She invited lots of her friends (which i knew), so we met each others finally. Some people didn't change at all while others have dramatically changed.

Before splitting, we decided to held an elementary reunion today. Since we usually did this every year and it turns out that last year, i couldn't attend it due to family event, i asked them whether they wanted to make a reunion for today and they agreed. I was originally planning for tomorrow, but one of them will have a family dinner since she was leaving back to Singapore on Tuesday morning, so i re-scheduled it for today. I hope it will be a great time today

IT Girls Web Comics

My friend David Sentanu has just started to run his weekly Web Comics. It's called I.T. Girls Web Comic and it's hosted in Blogger (it's in Indonesian). He has a good sense of humor and also arts. It seems that it deserves to be added on my Feed list. Unfortunately, it's weekly, not daily like Dilbert. Well, it's a good start for him

Old Reunion

This morning, i met my Junior High School teacher, Mrs. Lily when i was going to go to the office. She was heading back to school from the church because there was a ceremony at the church and all of the students were there too. I still recognize her and so did her. She was a teacher who was responsible for my class when i was in third year.

This kind of reunion was not only done at junior high school. When i was still at high school, we often visit our teacher in elementary school when we had our reunion (mostly once a year, but sometimes two times when we had a chance). Now, most of our teachers had retired, so we couldn't visit them at school again. It's so nostalgic remembering that we had a nice reunion with our teachers back then.

I still conduct our reunion with my friends at elementary school and we have done it last year. Perhaps we could do it again this year.

Nice Reunion

I just came back from a reunion with my friends at elementary school. We usually had this kind of party when most of the people are in Jogja and finally i had an opportunity to go (there was a reunion also yesterday, but i couldn't make it, since i came back from Ungaran and i was too tired to go again). We had dinner together, take some photos (i will upload it on my PicasaWeb account) and then we went to O La La cafe at Saphir Square. We enjoyed our time, but unfortunately we went a bit late. If we left earlier, we might spent more times talking and sharing each other.

Too bad that not all of us can gather together (i know it's quite hard to do so, since most of us have worked outside Jogja), but today, we could gather 9 peoples, so i think it's far better than yesterday (5 peoples only).

I think we can do that again on October, when most people came back to Jogja again. Until next time....
