Most of the students from ANU (Australian National University) and all of the students from PolyU (Hong Kong Polytechnic University) have arrived in Jogja to start their International YKFS Field School 2012 in the next few days. We just had a nice welcome night by now.
They will attend the field school in Banjaroya Village, Kalibawang district in Kulon Progo regency for the next three weeks and they will try to study the local behaviour and cultures, and to share what they are capable of to support the tourism of the surroundings area.
It's the first ever YKFS event that has three universities joined up together. Previously, we only collaborate with ANU for the past three years and now PolyU joined up. Who knows there will be more universities joining next year.
