While Google is trying to make some fun by introducing Google Motion at April Fool Day few days ago, these interesting features are implemented seriously by people from a group of post-doc students at USC's Institute for Creative Technologies (represented by Evan A. Suma) by using Microsoft Kinect sensors and their own version of motion detection algorithm called SLOOW (Software Library Optimizing Obligatory Waving) and Flexible Action and Articulated Skeleton Toolkit (FAAST)
