VLC 2.0 Twoflower is Released

A major release of VLC 2.0 Twoflower has hit the net and a lot of people are happy with this release. It brings:
  • Faster decoding on multi-core, GPU, and mobile hardware 
  • Ability to open more formats, notably professional, HD 
  • 10bits codecs
  • New rendering pipeline for video, with higher quality subtitles
  • New video filters to enhance your videos
  • Supports many new devices and BluRay Discs
  • Completely reworked Mac and Web interfaces
In total, Twoflower fixes several hundreds of bugs, in more than 7000 commits from 160 volunteers. It's definitely a community-backed release and everything goes back to community.
